About the Position

The patient population includes adults to geriatrics. The nurse will be responsible for administering heparin and blood products. The ability to start and maintain IVs is essential. The nurse will utilize Rapid Response and Code teams when necessary. The expected patient ratio is 1:6. Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is preferred. Scrub color for this position is navy blue. Scheduling typically includes two weekend shifts per six-week period. Floating may be required within the facility and scope of practice as needed. There are no call requirements for this role. If major holidays occur during the assignment, the nurse is expected to work them. Full compliance is required to start on time. All compliance documents must be completed promptly.
