Position Overview 2026 - 2027 School Year Opening for a Full-Time Math Teacher Mount St. Michael Academy, a Catholic all-boys, college prep Middle School (Grades 6-8) and High School (Grades 9-12) located on 22 acres in the Northeast Bronx, is looking for a Math Teacher (Grades 9-12) for the 2026-2027 academic year: This is a full-time position teaching Geometry and Algebra 2/ Trigonometry to grades 9 - 12. Qualifications thorough knowledge of the above mentioned courses energetic, mission driven, team player who is passionate about empowering young men to develop the skills, knowledge and attitudes to succeed in college enthusiasm for teaching in a Catholic, faith based school familiarity with the NYS curriculum willingness to work collaboratively with members of the department and the school administration ability to communicate effectively with students and parents Minimum Requirements Minimum requirement includes a bachelor’s degree; experience teaching Geometry and/or Algebra 2/Trigonometry is a plus.
