Role Description The Community Association Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Abilene, TX. This position is responsible for managing day-to-day operations for community associations, including preparing agendas and documentation, coordinating maintenance and repairs, and maintaining accurate records, and actively communicating with association boards. The manager serves as a primary point of contact for homeowners, board members, vendors, and the law firm, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and supporting compliance with governing documents and applicable laws. Daily tasks include overseeing vendor services, monitoring association projects, assisting with budgeting and assessments, and ensuring timely communication regarding policies, notices, and community updates. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, and ensuring that all activities align with association governing documents and applicable regulations. Qualifications Strong organizational and administrative skills, including document management, scheduling, and record-keeping. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities to interact with homeowners, board members, vendors, and legal professionals. Experience working with budgets, basic financial reports, and vendor contracts. Basic understanding of real estate, contracts, and community association governing documents, or willingness to learn. Proficiency with office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, word processing) and willingness to learn association management software. Ability to resolve conflicts professionally, apply community rules consistently, and exercise sound judgment. Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a customer service mindset when handling community issues and conflicts. High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail in all interactions and documentation. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, legal studies, or a related field preferred; relevant work experience may substitute. Willingness to work on-site in Abilene, TX and occasionally attend evening or weekend association meetings as needed. Experience in property management, community association management, or a related real estate field is highly beneficial.
