Retail Branch Manager

The Retail Branch Manager is responsible for leading the daily operations of a retail branch, ensuring an exceptional member experience, fostering a service-to-sale culture, and driving branch performance. This role plays a vital role in representing the REV branch in the local community, developing team members, and ensuring operational and financial success at the branch level. Assumes responsibility for the leadership and team development of the branch staff: Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver outstanding member service and achieve sales goals. Create an environment focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Support staff development through coaching, training, and the implementation of the REV DNA framework. Identify and prepare team members for internal growth and leadership opportunities. Assumes responsibility for branch performance and operations: Oversee all aspects of daily branch operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and compliance standards. Drive ranch profitability by managing expenses, optimizing workflows, and ensuring operational efficiency. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and take action to achieve branch goals. Manage staffing levels, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet member and operational needs. Assumes responsibility for the member experience and sales culture: Deliver an exceptional member experience that reflects REV’s service standards. Foster a sales-forward culture where team members confidently identify and fulfill member needs through REV’s full suite of products and services. Train and coach staff to turn service interactions into consultative sales conversations that add value to the member’s financial journey. Promote deep knowledge of financial solutions across the team to enhance member financial education and trust. Assumes responsibility for community engagement and business development: Represent REV in the local community and build strong relationships with local businesses and organizations. Actively participate in community and networking events to enhance the branch’s visibility and generate business development opportunities. Champion the REV brand through community involvement and consistent delivery of value to members. Assumes responsibility for financial oversight and risk management: Manage the branch to budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure the achievement of sales, lending, and membership goals. Ensure compliance with internal controls, risk management policies, and regulatory requirements. Lead performance in audits and reviews to maintain operational integrity and minimize risk exposure. Assumes responsibilities for related duties as required or assigned. Skills & Qualifications Education/Certification & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivale experience may be considered. Thee (3) to five (5) years of leadership experience in retail banking, credit unions, or financial services. Supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and develop staff. Skills/Abilities: Strong knowledge of retail banking operations, compliance, and service excellence Proven ability to drive sales performance and deliver outstanding service. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Familiarity with core banking systems, CRM platform, and financial services technology.
