Computed Tomography Technologist

Become a vital part of a hospital team in Troy, NY as an experienced Computed Tomography Technologist. You will accurately interpret physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT equipment to provide high-quality imaging for emergency, ICU, and inpatient populations. This role requires independent practice and collaboration with an imaging aide in a high-volume emergency department setting.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography or CT.
• Valid New York state license with contrast injection privileges.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum 3-4 years of CT technologist experience, with documented ability to perform all CT exams independently (excluding cardiac CT).
• Experience working in emergency department, inpatient, or ICU settings preferred.
• Experience operating Philips Brilliance 64-slice CT or similar multi-slice CT scanners preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic (EMR) workflow preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience performing contrast administration in acute care settings.
• Demonstrated competence working independently with imaging aides and managing high-volume ER imaging demands.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 2300 - 0700.
• Shift days: Sunday through Thursday.
• Work primarily with emergency department patients; some ICU and inpatient exams required.
• Operate Philips Brilliance 64-slice CT scanner.
