Title General Dentist Associate Job Description Conduct comprehensive dental examinations and patient assessments to evaluate oral health. Perform a wide range of dental procedures including fillings, extractions, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to promote long-term dental health. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records utilizing Dentrix or similar dental management software. Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Implement and monitor infection control protocols to provide a safe clinical environment. Collaborate closely with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to deliver exceptional patient care. Stay current on dental industry advancements and participate in continuing education to enhance skills and knowledge. Salary Range full-time $180,000 - $225,261 per year - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. - Commission pay opportunities available. Shift & Schedule Monday: 9 AM – 6 PM Tuesday: 9 AM – 6 PM Wednesday: 9 AM – 6 PM Thursday: 9 AM – 6 PM Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM Saturday: 9 AM – 3 PM Sunday: Closed Requirements General Dentistry Licensed dentist Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) from an accredited dental school. Valid dental license to practice in the state of Connecticut. Strong knowledge of general dentistry, including pediatrics and prosthodontics. Proficient understanding of dental anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients of all ages. Commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care. Preferences Dentrix Eaglesoft Open Dental Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software preferred.
