Job Summary

This role is responsible for managing the financials of large and/or complex programs, including fixed price contracts and competitive product lines. The individual will analyze and present program financial performance—orders, funding, sales, profit, and cash flow—to senior program leaders and customers during formal reviews. Responsibilities also include managing program billing preparation, cash tracking across assigned programs, as well as supporting month end close activities and earnings rate reviews in alignment with GAAP compliance and GD OTS policies.

Essential Functions

• Conducts quantitative analyses of information affecting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects of public or private institutions
• Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units in order to track the organization's progress against financial goals.
• Reports current or expected financial performance and creates financial models to guide decision making.
• Analyzes cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments to make recommendations for action and/or modifications regarding financial procedures, plans, and controls.
• Assists in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, or annual financial statements.

Additional Responsibilities

Manages program cost activities, including baselines, estimates to complete, reporting, earned value, and variances. Coordinates with procurement to support material forecasts. Oversees cost and pricing to ensure accurate estimates and contract compliance. Collaborates effectively across the organization with strong interpersonal skills.

Required Qualifications

• Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree
• Discipline/Major: Accounting, Finance or Business preferred
• Knowledge, skills & abilities: Oral and written communication skills. Analytical thinking skills. Statistical knowledge. Detail oriented. Ability to meet deadlines.
• Software experience: Advanced Excel skills. ERP systems. Finance tools/models

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time.
• Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.

Travel Requirements

No or very little travel likely.

Pay Range (USD)

96,000-130,000

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and relevant education or training.
