Concrete Finisher

Schlouch Incorporated has been Eastern Pennsylvania’s leading commercial, public and residential site preparation specialist since 1983 and is still growing. The Concrete Finisher position will work to prep, form and finish concrete curb and some flat work on residential and commercial construction sites within a 70-mile radius of Reading, PA. Concrete Finisher Job Tasks Pour, form, and finish slipform curb and flatwork (sidewalks, pads, etc.) Work safely every day by participating in daily safety huddles, identify hazards and apply the right P.P.E to the task Build concrete forms using hand/power tools (wood, steel, plastic) Interpret grade stakes and set string line for curb machine accurately Deliver quality craftsmanship on every job Work independently and as part of a team Concrete Finisher Skills & Knowledge Carpentry experience ADA knowledge Blueprint reading OSHA safety knowledge ACI Certifications are preferred but not required Requirements Valid Driver’s License Reliable Transportation Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to work independently and as a member of a crew Successfully pass pre-employment screening to include drug test and background check Excellent Benefits Salary Range: $23.50 to $30.00 per hour; based on experience Opportunities for advancement and growth Field specific training opportunities Paid vacation, holiday, and personal days Health, Dental and Vision Insurance available for employee and family Employer paid Life and Short Term Disability Insurance 401K with company match At Schlouch we are “One Team”.
