$4000.00 sign on Bonus!!

$25.50 - $28.00/hour

About the Role

The Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for:

• Providing primary and secondary nursing care to our residents under the supervision of a registered nurse

• administering medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed by physicians

• monitoring resident vital signs and reporting any changes or concerns to the nursing staff

• performing various medical procedures, such as vital sign checks, wound care, and catheter care

• documenting resident care and progress in accordance with facility policies

• collaborating with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to our residents, including:

  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed

  • Monitoring and reporting vital signs and changes

  • Performing various medical procedures

  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of resident care

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including registered nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists

• Participate in pre-shift reports and multidisciplinary care conferences to ensure comprehensive care

• Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices through ongoing education and training

Requirements

• Current LPN license in the state of Florida

• High school diploma or equivalent required; LPN diploma or degree preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse; experience in long-term care or sub-acute settings preferred

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds with assistance
