Administrative Fellow | Sheppard Pratt The Tone: This is a full-time Administrative Fellowship at Sheppard Pratt, located in Towson, MD. Sheppard Pratt is a community of healthcare professionals dedicated to providing hope and healing to individuals facing life’s challenges. This role is crucial for developing future healthcare leaders, offering direct executive exposure and hands-on project experience across various critical departments. The fellow will contribute to the organization’s mission by learning its operations and completing projects that impact patient care and business efficiency. The TL;DR Role: Internship Type: Full-time Location: In-person, Towson, MD Pay: $50089–$77340 yearly Team: Works closely with executive leadership, including the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer of Hospitals, and the Chief Strategy Officer. Mission: Complete projects across various service lines and business departments, gaining executive exposure and contributing to organizational initiatives to change lives. What You’ll Actually Do Gain Executive Exposure: Attend meetings and regular check-in meetings with the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operating Officer of Hospitals, and the Chief Strategy Officer. Understand Operations: Attend meetings within the first few months to learn about the different services and departments within Sheppard Pratt. Lead Projects: Complete a variety of projects spanning different service lines across the care continuum, including various business departments within Sheppard Pratt. Develop Areas of Interest: Expand further into specific areas of interest as the fellowship progresses. Create Deliverables: Conclude the fellowship with a portfolio of deliverables generated from completed projects. The Must-Haves Background: Master’s degree (MHA, MBA, MHSA, MPH, or other related fields) from an accredited graduate program is required. Candidates must be current students available to start full time in June 2027, or have graduated less than one year prior to the start date (June 2027). Experience: Relevant healthcare industry experience such as prior work experience, internship, or externship. Skills: Knowledge of health care management, including hospital and health system operations.
