Calm Waters Spa Front Desk AgentA Spa Front Desk Agent is one of the most valuable assets to the success of our business. Since our company is built on our reputation and client's word of mouth, it is vital to our success that we provide exemplary service to all guests upon arrival to the Calm Waters Spa and make a lasting impression on their farewell. Spa Front Desk Agents must ensure all guest's needs are satisfied to solidify their decision to return to the Spa.Essential Functions:Greets and registers guests upon their arrival at the SpaEnsures the accuracy of guest file informationSchedule spa services on a computerized spa systemPosts guest chargesAssists guests in understanding and settling their accountsMaintain eye contact when addressing external and internal guestsProperly open & close the spa each day according to Standard Operating ProceduresAcknowledge & greet everyone who enters & leaves spa facilitiesMaintain a clean, safe, fully stocked, and well-organized work areaRegularly attend, participate in, and support training and staff meetings for the spaAdditional Responsibilities:In addition to performing the essential functions, this position may be required to perform additional functions according to the needs of the spa and as assigned by the supervisor. These responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:Be on time for your shiftProvide locker room coverage as necessaryEnsuring guests have filled out health history forms, and therapists are aware of any guest conditionsPromote the sales of additional spa services and gift certificates in a positive and motivational wayAssist in all areas of spa operation as requested by managementDevelop the ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periodsCommunicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attentionKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that they can perform the job's essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.Knowledge:Spa Coordinators provide detailed descriptions of spa treatments, packages, services, facility features, and hours of operation.Utilize spa computers with skill and proficiency.Skills:Excellent verbal English communication skillsExceptional communication, listening, and people skillsAbilities:Ability to manage payments according to proceduresAbility to work independently and within a teamAbility to project a positive attitude over the telephoneMust be detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-taskQualification Standards:Education:High school diploma or GEDExperience:At least one year of consistent, steady work experience with the general public, specifically in customer servicePrevious hotel front desk experience helpfulOther:Pleasant personality; self-starter; enthusiastic team player; self-motivated. Spontaneous desire to assist others and provide excellent service. Passion for anticipating and exceeding our guests' needs.
