About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 PM - 7:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience License: New Hampshire RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (all from American Heart Association or American Red Cross) Must-Have: Prior travel experience (at least 3 months), EPIC experience, own vehicle for assignment, must work all required holiday blocks Description: Provide nursing care to patients from infancy through geriatric. Utilize knowledge of age-related growth and development to individualize the nursing process. Function in accordance with the nursing philosophy, goals, standards of care, and standards of practice. Comfortable with drips and vents. Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adapt quickly and effectively to stressful situations. Work collaboratively with emergency department staff and rescuers. Understanding the importance of teamwork among first responders and hospital staff. Must work two holiday blocks if scheduled/needed: Thanksgiving and Christmas weekends, and New Year's Day weekend. All requested time off must be noted at the time of submission. No more than 5 days of requested time off will be accepted. Traveler pairs will be considered but must be able to work different shifts and have transport. All medical and occupational health compliance items must be completed within required timelines. All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
