Mid and Senior Level Credit Analysts POST NUMBER: 480840

Vaco has a private lending client in midtown NYC seeking senior and mid-level Credit Analysts to join their growing organization.
Required:

• At least 2 years of experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or a similar role, preferably in business financing or short-term loans in a traditional or commercial lending company.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or a related field.
• Financial analysis and modeling.  
• Advanced Excel skills
• Familiarity with credit reports, cash flow analysis, and risk assessment tools.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.  
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.  
• Experience with Salesforce or a CRM is highly preferred.

Responsibilities will include:

• Evaluate borrower credit profiles including reviewing credit reports, conducting background checks, and analyzing public records.
• Analyze financial documentation including bank statements, profit and loss statements, balance sheets, accounts receivable, and tax returns to assess cash flow strength and credit risk.
• Assess creditworthiness and recommend loan eligibility and funding amounts based on detailed cash flow and risk analysis.
• Using a pricing framework, determine price loans and structure repayment terms (weekly, biweekly, or monthly)
• Prepare credit memos that summarize analysis, risks, and recommendations for internal decision-making.

Salary target ranges from $110-150k depending on level of the role.
