As a personal banker, you will Build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide solutions. Open new accounts, onboard new relationships, originate loans and lines, refer to partners to help meet additional needs. Make out-of-office business development calls to businesses, community organizations, and referral sources. Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act and OFAC regulations. Reflect the core values and ethics of WaFd Bank, including integrity, teamwork, ownership, simplicity, discipline, and service. In addition, they must be kind. Education/Skills/Training High school diploma or approved equivalent. Good math skills, 10-key and keyboarding. Proficient in standard Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Word, Teams, PowerBI and Outlook. Well-developed smart phone and digital channel skills. Must have excellent organizational and analytical skills and superior written and oral communication skills. Ability to demonstrate how to use automated technology to teach clients self-service skills. Must have valid driver’s license, satisfactory transportation, and adequate insurance coverage.
