On-Site Position in Franklin, TN, no remote option.
Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Specialist to manage purchasing, inventory, and material planning activities that support production and customer demand. This role works closely with Operations, Engineering, and suppliers to ensure materials are available, inventory is accurate, and customer orders are fulfilled on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Purchase materials and manage inventory levels, 6,000 + items with multiple vendors
- Coordinate sourcing and supplier relationships
- Support production schedules and customer orders
- Monitor inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies
- Manage incoming material inspections and vendor quality issues
- Utilize ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred) and generate reports
- Partner with Engineering and R&D on development projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of supply chain, purchasing, logistics, or inventory experience
- Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
- ERP/MRP experience; SAP preferred
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
