Details:

• 8 to 13-week travel contract with the possibility of an extension
• Days 8-5
• SNF setting

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Current certification as a COTA in Texas.
• CPR certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Prior experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Assist occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients as outlined in their treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to help patients improve their daily living skills and achieve their functional goals.
• Provide support and encouragement to patients during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with the occupational therapy team to assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Document patient responses to therapy and communicate findings to the supervising therapist.
• Maintain a clean and organized therapy environment.
