Principal Electrical Production Team Lead

Position type: Onsite. Only U.S. citizenship is eligible due to the requirement of a U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret). Location: Tucson, AZ. What you will do Lead electrical development for Design Verification Test (DVT) integration, qualification, and Transition to Production (TTP) activities. Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and training to ensure task execution and technical excellence. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address design, testing, integration, and production challenges. Support design reviews, project coordination, risk management, supplier engagement, and compliance efforts. Perform system integration, verification, qualification testing, and data analysis to ensure requirements are met. Communicate results, risks, and technical data to leadership, customers, and stakeholders. Mentor junior engineers and maintain a productive team environment. Ensure team resources align with program goals and track progress to meet deadlines. Travel: Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant engineering experience. Experience with RF, analog, digital, or mixed‑signal circuit design or analysis, digital signal processing, debugging, and failure investigations. Knowledge of FPGA integration and implementation preferred. Production engineering experience involving design, analysis, fabrication, or troubleshooting of missile hardware, systematic problem solving, root‑cause and corrective action. Professional written and verbal communication skills creating and presenting technical content to cross‑functional peers, leaders, suppliers and customers. Preferred Qualifications MS in Engineering, Science, Mathematics or equivalent. Production process knowledge of CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sensor, or electronic subsystems; including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test and supplier support. Technical support experience of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, PCB fabrication, circuit card assembly processes, and related industry specifications. Experience with subsystem integration and test, post‑test flight analysis, problem investigation, statistical process control (SPC) methods for production yield improvements, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementing engineering change notices. Experience with software/firmware languages: Python, C, MATLAB, Java, VHDL, Verilog. Leadership of technical teams, including cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination, preparation of detailed technical team reports, and proposal support. Certification for Basis of Estimate generation. Certification for Earned Value Management. What we offer Competitive salary range: $107,500 – $204,500.
