Overall Job Summary The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives and performing assigned tasks, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities As a Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements: Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs. Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer. Uncover Customer’s Needs & Wants. Recommend Product Solutions. Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer. Perform a combination of duties during 95% of your day, including operating cash registers, recovery of merchandise, participating in freight processes, merchandising, assembling merchandise, janitorial duties, executing price changes, operating equipment like forklifts and balers (if age permits), assisting customers, and maintaining poultry care. Required Qualifications No experience required. Retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential. Preferred Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills. Interpersonal skills and ethical issue resolution. Working Conditions Indoor and outdoor work environments with moderate noise; shifts typically no less than 4 hours. Promote safety and adhere to safety guidelines. Physical Requirements Ability to move merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds, operate store equipment, and perform physical tasks like standing, kneeling, climbing, and reaching.
