Job Title

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D)

Location

Lodi, CA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Weekend coverage required (every other or every third weekend; Night shift: Friday/Saturday)

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans within an LDRP setting
• Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes for both laboring and postpartum/couplet care patients
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide safe, patient-centered care
• Provide health education and information directly to patients, families, and treatment team members
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Attend deliveries as needed to support infant stabilization in coordination with NICU/Nursery staff

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of California
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Ability to perform postpartum and couplet care as part of an LDRP unit model
• Willingness to float to other units occasionally as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior acute care facility experience
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Pyxis medication management systems
