Company Description Infectious Disease Services of Georgia is a board-certified medical practice specializing in infectious disease consultation, treatment, and primary care. Serving the metro Atlanta area with offices in Roswell, Cumming, and Johns Creek, the practice features a team of six specialists, wound care nurses, a pharmacy consultant, and an on‑site infusion center. Providing tailored care for complex, hard-to-diagnose infections, the team treats conditions such as MRSA, HIV/AIDS, fungal infections, and tropical diseases, among others. Additional services include wound care, travel medicine, immunizations, and intravenous therapy at the ACHC-accredited office-based infusion center. Patient care is comprehensive and personalized, supported by a convenient patient portal and most major insurance plans. Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Medical Doctor position based in Roswell, GA. The Medical Doctor will provide expert consultation and treatment for infectious diseases and primary care patients. Responsibilities include diagnosing and managing complex infectious conditions, providing preventative care such as immunizations and travel medicine services, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including wound care nurses and pharmacy consultants. The role also involves utilizing the on‑site infusion center to administer intravenous antibiotics and immune globulin therapy, ensuring quality patient care and safety. Qualifications Strong diagnostic and treatment skills in managing infectious diseases, including rare or treatment-resistant conditions. Expertise in Internal Medicine, with a comprehensive approach to primary care and preventive treatments. Proficiency in overseeing office‑based infusion therapies and wound care management. Effective communication and collaboration skills to work within a multidisciplinary medical team. Board certification in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine. Fellowship training in Infectious Diseases preferred. Active medical license in the state of Georgia or eligibility to obtain one. Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems and patient management portals. Commitment to quality care, patient safety, and evidence‑based medical practices.
