Picture your afternoon: you arrive on-site in Mooresville, NC, sync up with the outgoing crew, and bring a bank of CNC machines to peak performance. You dial in tooling, verify offsets, skim the prints, and run first-article checks with the right gages. Through the evening, you solve problems, keep quality tight, and help junior operators build confidence—wrapping a productive 2nd shift by 10:00 PM.

Role Details

• Location: Mooresville, NC
• Work Arrangement: On-site
• Schedule: 2nd Shift, 1:45 PM–10:00 PM
• Pay: $21 - $24 per hour (depending on skills and experience)
• Employment Type: Full-time / Hourly

What You’ll Tackle

• Set up, operate, and adjust CNC and related mechanical equipment to achieve precision, throughput, and repeatable quality.
• Apply advanced troubleshooting and make program/offset changes to resolve issues and enhance machine performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and work instructions to run the job right the first time.
• Perform in-process and final checks using required gaging instruments; complete all quality and production records accurately.
• Maintain 5S standards and adhere to safety, environmental, and quality procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement and coach less-experienced operators on best practices.

What You Bring

• 2–5 years in a comparable CNC machining role.
• Confidence working independently with minimal supervision.
• Strength in diagnosing complex equipment/process issues and implementing fixes.
• Hands-on knowledge of CNC operations, tooling, and related processes.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
• Solid math, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with required inspection and gaging instruments.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

• Extended periods of standing.
• Regularly lift up to 50 lbs; push or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Frequent bending and stooping.
• Manual dexterity for handling small parts and tools.
• Manufacturing floor environment with notable noise.
