We are seeking an experienced Medical Billing Specialist to join our team in a fully remote capacity. This individual will play a critical role in supporting billing operations, ensuring claims are processed accurately, compliantly, and in a timely manner. This is an immediate opening, and medical billing experience is strictly required. The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment while maintaining high productivity and accuracy standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance providers with a high degree of accuracy
• Perform follow-up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve billing discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and payer requirements
• Manage billing workflows within the NextGen Office system
• Maintain accurate patient billing records and documentation
• Communicate with internal teams and, when needed, insurance payers to resolve issues
• Monitor claim status and ensure timely reimbursement
