Conflicts & Billing Coordinator

Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time
Salary: $70,000 - $78,000 per year

LHH is recruiting a Conflicts & Billing Coordinator for a full-service business law firm in Chicago. This role combines legal conflicts administration and billing support, making it ideal for someone with experience in law firm accounting, conflicts analysis, or legal operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform conflict checks and analyze results
• Coordinate matter intake and opening procedures
• Maintain conflicts databases and records
• Assist with conflict waivers and engagement letters
• Support billing processes, invoice generation, and e-billing
• Process billing edits and billing transfers
• Assist attorneys and staff with billing inquiries
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of financial data

Qualifications

• 2+ years of law firm conflicts experience
• Billing experience preferred
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Compensation & Benefits
