Elevate Textiles, a leading manufacturer and marketing of advanced textiles, is looking for a CDL Driver to join the company's internal trucking fleet. This position would cover local, day routes between manufacturing facilities and local suppliers. The job requires that you operate a Class A commercial truck combination vehicle within safety guidelines as prescribed by the company and by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. Specific responsibilities include:

• Operate a tractor/trailer combination vehicle over public highways to pickup and deliver freight as directed by dispatch. Obey all federal and state laws in the operation of a commercial vehicle.
• Maintain a valid commercial drivers license with hazardous materials endorsement and maintain a current and valid DOT medical examiners certificate that allows operation of a commercial vehicle.
• Maintain required records including vehicle inspection log and driver log book, observing all laws and regulations governing hours of service (HOS) for commercial drivers.
• Insure all freight documents accompany the freight shipment and are signed and submitted as required.
• Monitor and redistribute freight load as necessary to insure compliance of federal and state weight per axle regulations.
• Adhere to all regulations and requirements as set forth by the company and department to insure the safe operation of a tractor/trailer combination vehicle.
