Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Evening Shift, 12-Hour Shifts (1:00 PM – 1:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room seeing approximately 200 patients per day
• Manage a patient population spanning all ages and diagnoses within a Level I Trauma / Teaching Facility
• Maintain a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio across a 38-bed unit
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed
• Complete CPI certification within 30 days of start date

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) required upon start
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) required upon start
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) required upon start
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification required upon start
• BLS (Basic Life Support) required upon start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a high-volume or Level I Trauma emergency department setting
• Experience caring for patients across all age groups and a broad range of diagnoses
