Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician – Evening Shift
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Job Type: Full-time
Work Location: In person

We are seeking a punctual, dependable, and experienced Diesel Mechanic / Heavy Equipment Technician to join our team for the evening shift. The ideal candidate will have strong diagnostic and repair experience with diesel trucks and heavy equipment, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on diesel trucks, heavy trucks, and heavy equipment
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair brake systems in compliance with DOT standards
• Conduct preventative maintenance and mechanical repairs
• Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
• Ensure all vehicles and equipment are operating safely and efficiently
• Maintain accurate service and repair records

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of equipment repair experience required
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, truck diagnostics, and mechanical repair
• Experience with brakes, DOT regulations, and heavy equipment
• Welding experience preferred
• Knowledge of heavy equipment and truck systems required
• Certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
