Job Details:

• Provide direct diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive health care services under physician supervision
• Obtain patient history and perform comprehensive assessments
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic procedures
• Provide and document direct treatment and management of health conditions
• Counsel and educate patients and their families/caregivers on preventative health, treatment options, and community resources
• Perform preventative health assessments, screenings, immunizations, and care
• Communicate and coordinate care between case team members, patients, and families
• Conduct emergency procedures within scope of training
• Actively participate in current and future department initiatives
• Provide quality and compassionate care within ethical and religious directives
• Comply with Medical Records documentation standards
• Respond to consultation and evaluation requests from other service lines in a timely manner and address orders promptly
• Must hold active Physician Assistant licensure credentialed from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) prior to hire date
• Must hold active DEA credential from the Drug Enforcement Administration prior to hire date
• BLS or ACLS certification required from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies required
• Monday through Friday schedule

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
