Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Procurement Analyst with our oil and gas client in Houston, TX. This is a 24-month contract with a potential for extension.

Pay: $40.00 - $48.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship.

Schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day remote. 5/8 schedule.

The Senior Projects Analyst supports maintenance and project activities while managing the use of SAP to ensure reliable and cost-effective Pipeline and Terminal operations. Responsibilities may include:

• Create all requisitions for materials and services for Midstream Projects.
• Support and manage change order requests; communicate with Project Leads and buyers to verify proper documentation is included and POs are updated correctly.
• Support Project Leads with purchase order and invoice issues, communicating with vendor and Accounts Payable to identify cause of issue and determine proper resolution.
• Request position IDs for contract Project Leads to enable ALM setup with Project Manager roles.
• Request SAP Access and ALM roles for all new Project employees and contractors.
• Provide support to Project Leads on researching project data and system information.
• Create and release networks and labor/expense activities on new Capital Projects. Verify and/or update activity coding on existing labor networks.
• Coordinate with Procurement Business Partners and Category Management when vendor additions and/or changes are needed.
• Coordinate with procurement to verify that requisitions are quickly converted to purchase orders and confirming with vendors purchase order receipt.
• Ensure costs are settled correctly, scope and instructions are fit for purpose and applicable policies and procedures are referenced.
• Review and monitor Project documentation to verify accuracy and validity.
• Provide support to Project Leads and PCLs in determining cause and resolution of SAP system errors.
• Serve as the Midstream Projects SAP SME, AM/P SuperUser and EPPM Trainer.
• Conduct SAP training for Project Builder requisitioning and serve as the primary contact for Midstream Projects SAP support.
• Provide training and support to Process Reliability Analysts in utilizing Project Builder for requisitioning.
• Create and manage work orders for Midstream Projects contingent labor and to ensure the project time/cost allocations are updated regularly to reflect proper project allocations.

Qualifications Basic/Required:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Demonstrated ability to read and understand related drawings and technical documents
• 3 or more years of experience in maintenance via SAP or similar systems

Preferred:

• Associate's degree or higher
• 5 or more years of experience in maintenance via SAP or similar systems
• Experience in SAP or similar Maintenance Management System
• Experience in Procurement activities
• Experience supporting multiple projects
• Mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of pipeline and terminal equipment

Notes:

• Looking for someone with capital projects experience (midstream preferred, but any capital projects will suffice) and requisitioning experience in SAP.
• This individual will work a joint queue box with another Project Analyst and clear 2500-3000 lines a month (between 2 people).
• Some requisitions have multiple lines, could be up to 200 lines for 1 requisition.
• This role lives in SAP, so that is non-negotiable.
• Must be able to trouble shoot POs in SAP and ensure vendors are set up correctly and payments are submitted through the proper channels.
• Requisitioning experience in SAP is more important that Midstream experience.
