Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse – Medical Step Down Unit – Georgia

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Schedule: Medical Step Down Unit assignment with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio in a 6-20 bed unit. Float capability required to additional IMCU units as needed. Mandatory holiday coverage includes either Thanksgiving Day or the day after Thanksgiving, plus either Christmas Eve/Christmas Day or New Year's Eve/New Year's Day.

• Opportunity to expand clinical skills with float assignments to multiple IMCU units
• 13-week travel assignment in a major metropolitan healthcare setting
• Fast-paced step down environment ideal for experienced acute care nurses

Requirements:

• Active Georgia RN license or compact state licensure
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care or step down nursing experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Ability to float to other intermediate care units as assigned
