What You'll Do As a CNA, you will: Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal care Support residents during meals and encourage independence whenever possible Monitor and record vital signs Observe and communicate changes in resident condition to the nursing team Document care accurately and timely Assist with transfers and mobility using appropriate equipment and safety practices Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional resident care What We're Looking For Successful CNAs at The Sharon are: Compassionate and resident-focused Dependable and team-oriented Patient, empathetic, and respectful Detail-oriented and observant Passionate about serving older adults Qualifications Current CNA certification (or eligibility to obtain certification according to state requirements) Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and personal care needs Basic knowledge of healthcare and resident care practices Previous senior living, long-term care, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required We provide training, support, and opportunities for growth to help you succeed.
