About the Position

Job Title: Cath Lab Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Cath Lab Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted License: State license required Certifications: ARRT R or CCI RCIS required Must-Have: - Diagnostic cardiac cath lab experience - Interventional cardiac cath lab experience - Skills in ASD closures, cardiac stent placement, and adult diagnostic catheterization - Experience in interpreting dysrhythmias and hemodynamic monitoring - Proficient with PACS and Fluoroscopy - Familiarity with Philips and Siemens equipment Description: The Cath Lab Tech will perform diagnostic and interventional procedures. The role requires providing care to adult patients in the cardiac cath lab setting. Responsibilities include equipment setup, maintaining a sterile field, and ensuring accurate monitoring. The candidate should be able to perform EKG lead placement and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias. The Cath Lab Tech will report to the supervisor and may work varying shifts, including call shifts. Call is required one day per weekday and every 4th to 5th weekend. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. Candidates must be able to work well under pressure and demonstrate strong teamwork skills.
