Diesel Technician/Mechanic

Diesel Technician/MechanicWe are looking for a skilled Diesel Technician/Mechanic with a minimum of two years experience on Class 8 trucks to join our team and help maintain the safety and reliability of our fleet and equipment during the night shift. This position requires a self-motivated individual who is a team player, with a strong willingness to learn new skills and contribute positively to the team's success.ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will DoInspect and repair basic engine components.Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical issues.Change tires, make brake adjustments, and fix lights.Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on trucks and trailers.Maintain complete and accurate maintenance documentation.Operate forklift and drive truck and trailer when necessary.Follow good housekeeping standards in all areas of work.Perform welding and fabrication as needed.Make recommendations for process system improvements.Adhere to industrial safety standards and OSHA guidelines.Complete all other tasks as assigned.QualificationsWhat We Look ForMinimum of 2 years of experience as Class 8 transport mechanic or a related field.General knowledge of DOT truck maintenance requirements.Clear understanding and adherence to safety regulations.Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more consistently.Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Must have strong welding and fabrication skills.Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.A dedicated team player who contributes to the overall success of the organization.Nice To Have:Class A Commercial Driver LicenseSchedule: Typical work schedule is Sunday - Thursday from 11:00 PM to 8:00 AM.What We OfferAverage Total Compensation $66,000-73,000 including annual bonus, based on skills and experience.Weekly Incentive Bonus OpportunitiesFull Medical, Dental, and Prescription Insurance PlansHealth Savings Account (HSA) with Annual Company ContributionAnnual Bonus (Profit-Sharing)401(k) Plan with Company Match up to 50%Annual Stock Award ($2,200 every November)Employee Stock Purchase Plan with 15% Company MatchPaid Vacation10 Paid HolidaysCompany-paid Uniforms...and many more!Are you passionate about environmental stewardship and eager to make a difference?
