Job Details Job Location: Annapolis, MD 21401 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $25.00 - $25.00 Hourly Job Shift: Day Shift Job Category: Restaurant - Food Service Nutrition Services Supervisor – Skilled Nursing / Health Center – Full‑Time Ginger Cove is seeking a Nutrition Services Supervisor to oversee daily dietary operations within our Health Center and Assisted Living. This is a clinical healthcare dining leadership role, responsible for ensuring residents receive medically appropriate meals, accurate diet modifications, and high-quality service in a regulated care environment. This position is not a restaurant or general dining room management role. Experience in healthcare dietary operations is required. You will partner closely with the Clinical Nutrition Manager and Culinary leadership team to ensure compliance, accuracy, and excellence in resident dining services. What You’ll Do: Supervise daily dietary operations in the Health Center and Assisted Living areas Lead, train, and support Dietary Aides and culinary team members in a clinical setting Ensure accurate implementation of physician-ordered diets and texture modifications Oversee tray line operations and electronic tray ticket systems for compliance and accuracy Monitor meal delivery, nourishment schedules, and resident-specific dietary needs Maintain strict sanitation, safety, and infection control standards Ensure documentation and records are completed accurately and timely Conduct quality checks for meal accuracy, portioning, and presentation Support staffing schedules and daily assignment coverage Step in to assist Dietary Aides or cooks as needed for operational support Collaborate with nursing and clinical teams to support resident care plans Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations (CMS/healthcare dietary standards) Why Join Ginger Cove: Supportive and collaborative work environment Opportunity to lead and grow within Culinary Services Beautiful waterfront campus in Annapolis Strong reputation for quality resident care and hospitality Annual bonus opportunity Referral bonus program Employee recognition incentives Scholarship program Leadership Development Generous retirement plan with employer match Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare, senior services, restaurant, or food-related fields. Minimum 1 year of experience working with elderly individuals. SERVSafe certification required or able to obtain. Certified Dietary Manager preferred or able to complete certification within 12 months. Excellent customer service skills. Must have a valid federal ID. Must present a professional appearance.
