Job Description Join a hospital team as a clinical nursing professional on a travel contract in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. This role supports competent, standards-based clinical nursing care in a fast-paced inpatient setting, with a focus on coordinating and carrying out the nursing process from assessment through plan updates. You’ll be responsible for organizing and prioritizing care, synthesizing clinical information, and partnering with the interdisciplinary team to evaluate outcomes and promote continuity. Work on 12-hour nights, averaging 36 hours per week, while caring for patients with complex needs that often involve education, safety planning, and discharge anticipation. Expect bedside point-of-care testing as required for the care plan, and consult available resources for unusual teaching needs or higher-risk discharge planning. ACLS is required, and experience with telemetry and/or cardiac surgery is preferred—this assignment is a great fit if you enjoy close attention to monitoring details and structured clinical problem‑solving.
