Case Manager/Clinician--Family Engagement/Truancy

NRVCS is looking for a Case Manager/Clinician to join our School Based Mental Health Team. The Case Manager/Clinician, works with our school liaison to provide support and services to students and families, to improve school attendance and overall daily functioning. Case Manager/Clinician will coordinate with school and mental health providers to ensure that individuals and their families are linked with community resources, to function optimally at school and at home. New River Valley Community Services provides weekly individual supervision and opportunities for ongoing group supervision. We are looking for individuals who possess an in-depth knowledge of the varied needs of youth and who are excited to work with a multi-disciplinary team, and communicate and collaborate effectively with school personnel and other mental health providers. Case Manager II Starting Hourly Rate: $17.56-Depending on Experience


Clinician I Starting Salary: $46,706-Depending on Experience


Education/Experience Required:


Case Manager II:

• Bachelor's Degree in education, social work, psychology or other human services field is required.
• Registration as a QMHP or trainee, and must maintain QMHP status and all required trainings/CEUs, required.

Clinician I:

• Master's Degree in social work, psychology, counseling or other license-eligible field is required.
• State of Virginia license eligibility in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family or other related field is required.
