Public Services Assistant Floater - Riverview Region - 40 Hours

Public Services Assistant Floater King County Library System (KCLS) is seeking a motivated and skilled Public Services Assistant Floater to provide service in the Riverview Region of the King County Library System. The Riverview Region includes the following libraries: Issaquah, Renton, Renton Highlands, Mercer Island, Skyway, Newcastle. The Public Services Assistant (PSA) Floater assists patrons with information about library materials, equipment, programs, and services in order to help them succeed through ideas, interaction and information. As a PSA Floater, you will have the opportunity to: Provide assistance to patrons in person, online, and over the phone Perform material circulation duties Assist patrons in using computers, printers, and other library technology Model and champion intellectual freedom Collaborate with other staff on variety of tasks, such as committees and projects This is an ideal opportunity for you if you are passionate about library services and serving the diverse communities of King County. Schedule: Tuesday, 11:15am-7:15pm Wednesday, 11:15am-7:15pm Thursday, 9:15am-5:15pm Friday, 9:15am-5:15pm Saturday, 10:15am-6:15pm This is a floater position based in the Renton Highlands Library, but will serve all Riverview region libraries as needed. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.
