Guaranteed Hours Per Week: 40 hrs
Primary Location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital
Shift Requirements: 8 hrs flexible typically 7a-430p
Float Requirements (campuses and/or units): float to other locations in central region if needed.
On Call/Call Back Requirements: 1-2 nights of weeknight call as needed. 30 minute response time
Weekend/Holiday Rotation Requirements: for call only- every 4th weekend, holidays required as needed
Required Licenses and Certifications: ARRT, BLS, WI license required
(Aspirus requires AHA or ARC certifications)
Minimum Experience : 2+ years is required - Experience in Interventional Cath Procedures; Interventional Vascular Procedures or Interventional Neurology required
Preferred experience performing high quality radiologic exams, interventional medical sonography exams, cone beam CT exams, with three-dimensional reconstruction of imaging examinations, and complex procedures to include interventional radiology, vascular interventional, and neuro interventional cases.
Charting Experience: Epic experience highly preferred
General Job Duties: Fast paced IR unit, variety of procedures; 1:1, avg 4-6 /day, Team of 1 RN & 2 Rad Techs
Scrub Colors required: Any colored scrubs

GSA hours are not guaranteed the week of Orientation. Traveler is guaranteed set hours per week, except during holidays where unit is closed.

Contract is eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours

Travelers can be put on call for low census hours. The on-call hours that travelers are placed on will count toward the 36 low census unbillable hours. If the traveler is called back to the facility, they will be able to receive call back pay. Call back minimum is 2 hours.

During Flu Season any traveler that declines to be flu and covid vaccinated will be required to wear a mask at all times. There is no exception to this Aspirus policy. Failure to adhere to the policy will result in corrective action.
