Operations Manager - Landscape Installation About this role Operations Manager – Landscape Installation Location: Mt. Juliet, TN Compensation: $65,000–$70,000 base salary, plus bonus opportunity Role Type: Full-Time | Field Operations Leadership About the Role Color Burst Landscapes is hiring an Operations Manager – Installation to lead the day-to-day execution of landscape construction, enhancement, and installation projects across multiple crews and job sites. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands landscape installation, knows how to keep crews productive, and can help projects stay on schedule, on budget, and up to quality standards. The right person will be comfortable working closely with field leaders, crews, Account Managers, Branch Managers, and internal teams to make sure each project is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally. If you have experience managing landscape construction crews, coordinating multiple job sites, solving field challenges, and developing team members, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do Oversee multiple landscape installation and enhancement crews Manage daily field operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to quality standards Support labor planning, scheduling, material readiness, and equipment coordination Review project estimates, labor needs, and production requirements before work begins Monitor job progress, crew productivity, labor usage, and equipment efficiency Troubleshoot job site issues and help remove barriers that slow down production Provide technical guidance on landscape construction, site preparation, hardscape, softscape, and enhancement work Partner with Account Managers, Branch Managers, and internal teams on project updates, timelines, and client expectations Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Approve time tracking, work logs, and field documentation for accuracy Coach, train, mentor, and support crew leaders and field team members Assist with hiring, onboarding, performance conversations, and team development Promote a safety-first, team-focused, high-performance culture Support seasonal snow operations, including planning, execution, and post-event reporting when needed What We're Looking For 3–5 years of experience in landscape construction, landscape installation, enhancement work, or a related field 2–3 years of leadership experience managing crews, job sites, field operations, or project-based work Strong understanding of landscape installation, site preparation, hardscape, softscape, construction equipment, and safety practices Ability to manage multiple crews, projects, and timelines in a fast-paced environment Experience evaluating productivity, labor efficiency, equipment usage, and job performance Strong communication skills with field teams, internal departments, and clients Comfortable using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word Experience with Aspire, LMN, or other scheduling/project management software is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required Degree in Construction Management, Horticulture, or a related field is preferred, but directly related experience will also be considered Why Join Color Burst Landscapes?
