Join Our Team as an Obstetric and Gynecologic Hospitalist

Our organization is actively looking for a board-certified or board-eligible Obstetric and Gynecologic Hospitalist to become part of our outstanding team of collaborative physicians in the Rockford, Illinois area!

• Employment Type: Full-time, hospital-employed position
• Work Environment: 100% inpatient care
• Shift Schedule: Eight 24-hour shifts per month
• Responsibilities: Cover labor and delivery, including cesarean sections
• Conduct inpatient rounding and manage discharges
• Enjoy a flexible work-life balance
• Collaborate with Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists at the Northwest Regional Perinatal Center and Level III NICU
• Access to extensive multi-subspecialty referral sources on-site
• Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Records (EMR)

• MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible
• A minimum of two years of inpatient experience required
• Completion of residency from an ACGME-accredited program
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
• A genuine passion for improving lives
• Expertise in delivering exceptional patient care

• Hourly Rate: $180.00

Our advanced surgical suites, including hybrid operating rooms with real-time radiographic capabilities, provide state-of-the-art technology. A new Hospital-Based Cancer Institute is set to open in early 2025!

• 17-bed Labor/Delivery unit
• 20-bed Postpartum unit
• 52-bed NICU, including a 12-bed Small Baby Unit (SBU)
• State-of-the-art surgical services and operating suites
• Designated regional Perinatal Center
• Maternal and Neonatal Transport Team
• Comprehensive OB team, including MFM specialists, midwives, and OB hospitalists
