Responsibilities - Turn 60-minute podcast recordings into engaging Instagram Reels and short-form videos.
- Identify the strongest 30–60 second moments and craft compelling hooks that capture attention immediately.
- Edit talking-head videos, founder updates, behind-the-scenes content, and business-focused clips.
- Create clean, readable captions with burned-in subtitles optimized for mobile viewing.
- Deliver polished vertical videos that feel native to Instagram.
- Identify standalone clips with high engagement potential from longer recordings.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style.
Requirements
- Proven experience editing short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, or YouTube Shorts.
- Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention.
- Excellent judgment in selecting compelling moments from long-form content.
- Experience editing founder, business, podcast, or operator-style content.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following: Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Descript, and Adobe After Effects
- Strong caption design skills with attention to readability and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Able to work in several overlapping with PST business hours
