Job Title: Sonographer Address: Morristown, NJ Job Description Prepares patient for examination focusing on comfort and satisfaction, explaining procedures clearly. Performs ultrasound procedures while observing and monitoring the patient throughout the process. Sets up equipment to administer procedures promptly and maintains accurate records of exams performed. Reviews prior reports and images to ensure proper techniques and completeness of studies. Maintains inventory and purchases supplies for the assigned area. Performs additional related duties as assigned. Critical Information Schedule options: Either Sun-Thurs 10:30-6:30p or Tues-Sat 10:30-6:30p. Requires strong hands-on inpatient scanning experience in acute care environments. Education/Licenses Needed High School Diploma or GED required. Registered Cardiac Diagnostic Medical Sonographer with ARDMS or CCI. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from AHA.
