Sr. Scientist, DMPK (Small Molecule and/or Large Molecule)

About the Role We are looking for a collaborative and highly motivated senior scientist to join our biotransformation and metabolism group. The primary role will be to support in vitro and in vivo metabolite identification for multiple discovery and development projects, with subject matter expertise in enzymology and small or large molecule biotransformation/metabolite identification. Your Contributions Independently conduct in vitro and in vivo metabolite identification studies, including preparing and analyzing samples for LC‑MS/MS, processing data, and interpreting metabolic pathways. Develop and implement suitable analytical LC separation methods and troubleshoot minimal supervision. Optimize MS methods to obtain structural characterization of metabolites of interest. Perform radioanalysis (14C, 3H, etc.) and radio‑profiling of in vitro and in vivo biological samples for quantitation and identification of metabolites. Maintain and repair instruments and troubleshoot complex instrument issues. Write protocols, reports, and data summaries; analyze and interpret results. Ensure timely delivery of results in line with project schedules. Prepare data summaries and present results to peers, colleagues, project team, and leadership. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal technical communication skills and the ability to lead, guide, and influence teams in decision making. Requirements BS with 5+ years (preferred 10+) of experience, OR MS with 3+ years (preferred 5+), OR PhD in Biochemistry, Drug Metabolism, or related discipline (preferred 2+ years in industrial discovery and development of therapeutics). Expertise and working knowledge of biotransformation of small molecules, enzymology, and LC‑MS/MS methodology. Experience with handling biological samples containing radioactivity used in ADME studies. Experience with isolation of metabolites and NMR is a plus. Ability to balance multiple projects and handle competing responsibilities. Strong communication skills with the ability to integrate diverse perspectives, deliver critical messaging, and influence leaders/key partners. Salary and Benefits Annual base salary: $110,800 – $151,000, varying by location, role complexity, and experience. Annual bonus target of 20% of earned base salary and eligibility for equity‑based long‑term incentive program.
