Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time in Davenport, IA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity, incident, and access-related documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures and communicating with appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Report hazards, maintenance concerns, policy violations, and suspicious activity to Allied Universal leadership and designated site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
