Quality Control Technician IThe Quality Control Technician I is responsible for performing inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure precast concrete products meet PCI standards and project design specifications. This role supports quality assurance throughout the production process, including pre-pour, post-pour, and material testing activities. The Quality Control Technician works closely with production teams to identify issues, ensure compliance, and maintain high-quality and safe product outcomes.Salary range $22.29-31.21Safety is our highest priority. They are comfortable performing hands-on testing and inspections while following strict procedures and documentation standards. This individual is a strong team player who communicates effectively with production and quality teams and is committed to ensuring all products meet or exceed required specifications.High school diploma or GED requiredValid Driver License in good standingStrong attention to detail with basic math and measurement skills (including tape measure use)Ability to read and interpret production drawings and pour sheetsBasic proficiency in Microsoft OfficeStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively with teamsUnderstanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environmentAbility to perform accurate testing and follow standardized proceduresStrong organizational skills and ability to manage documentation accuratelySelf-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team settingAbility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm useCapable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
