Please review the job information below.***Location:** Neonatal Care Center**Schedule:** Full-time, Day shift**General Purpose of job:**The Clinical Pharmacist is responsible for the implementation and provision of clinical pharmacy services to improve and enhance patient care. This position serves the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.* Makes patient care rounds with multi-disciplinary healthcare team in the assigned areas to provide pharmaceutical care.* Works closely with all members of the care team to assure safe and efficient delivery of patient care.* Coordinates medication delivery for patients.* Coordinates automated dispensing cabinet maintenance for designated areas.* Acts as a liaison between the pharmacy and the medical and nursing staff for issues pertaining to clinical pharmacy services.* Serves as a preceptor for Pharmacy Residents and students on rotations at Driscoll Children's Hospital.* Performs a variety of activities and duties as assigned to meet the routine and urgent needs the department.**Requirements:*** BS in Pharmacy or PharmD, plus a pharmacy residency; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Current licensure either by reciprocity or examination by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.* Neonatal/Pediatric and Hospital experience strongly preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
