Forklift Operator
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm
Position Summary: The Forklift Operator safely operates powered industrial equipment to move materials throughout the warehouse. This role ensures products are stored, retrieved, and shipped efficiently while maintaining a safe work environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down, stand-up, reach truck, or cherry picker forklifts safely.
- Load and unload trailers.
- Transport pallets to designated warehouse locations.
- Replenish inventory in picking locations.
- Stage customer orders for shipment.
- Inspect forklifts before each shift and report maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper product handling.
- Assist with receiving, shipping, and warehouse organization.
- Follow OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
- Support general warehouse duties when forklift work is complete.
Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to safety and detail.
- Basic computer or RF scanner experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
- Sit, stand, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
- Frequently operate powered industrial equipment.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
