Phlebotomist Specialist -Patient service Center

Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Villa Rica, GA. Location: Villa Rica, GA Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with 1-hour lunch break and rotating Saturdays. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Work in a Patient Service Center or Client office. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program. 3 years or more experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 5 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, Phlebotomy certification must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
