Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Plumber to join our team in Tampa, FL.Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm (rotating weekends & on call as needed).Job ResponsibilitiesDiagnose plumbing issues, identify leaks, and unblock clogged drainsMeasure, cut, bend, and assemble pipes; install water heaters, toilets, and plumbing fixturesRead blueprints and adhere to all local building codes and safety regulationsProvide cost estimates and clearly explain repair optionsConduct routine inspections of piping networks to prevent future emergenciesCoordinate repairs with department supervisors and ensure completion of assigned workPerform additional duties as assignedMinimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GEDValid state-issued Journeyman or Master Plumber license2 years or more of experience as a residential or commercial plumber.Preferred QualificationsCompletion of an apprenticeship or trade school certificate program.3 years or more of experience as a residential or commercial plumberAdditional Job StandardsAbility to safely use and maintain standard plumbing toolsBasic computer knowledge and data entry skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentHigh level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitaskStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to handle the physical requirements of the positionAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
