About the Position

RN - Med/Surg/Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing setting
• Ability to monitor and respond to telemetry and cardiac monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification
• Prior travel or contract nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
