Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a CVICU position requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience with night shift availability and ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Details

• Work in a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Every other weekend required
• May float to MSICU, Neuro ICU, or Burn ICU as needed
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or relevant ICU experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• Navy scrubs required
• No RTO during the first week of orientation; no more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved for the duration of the contract
• Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
